Chandigarh Railway Station is the nearest to the hostel, approximately 273 km. The rest of the journey can be done in a shared cab, taxi or bus.
The closest airport is the Bhuntar Airport which is 32 km away from The Hosteller Kasol by the Riverside.
Manikaran Bus Stand is approximately 3 km from the hostel and one can reach from the bus station to the hostel easily via shared cab or taxi.

We absolutely loved the vibe of the hostel, especially the staff (Dipto, Bhalu Bhai and Satyam). The fellow travelers were also very friendly and warm - we bonded really well with each of them. The food and the location of the hostel is to die for. We look forward to visiting the place again in the future.

Property was clean an tidy. I am very concerned about washrooms wherever I stay and it was clean and maintained up to my expectations. Room with a balcony and window side bed with view of snowcapped mountain was way too good and made the trip awesome.

One of the best scenic hostel I have ever been to. Best part of the hostel is the management staff, they never let us feel alone, always been around and ready to serve and help. They went down in the snow for kms to help stranded guests.
POLICIES
Visitor (non-resident guests) timings: 10 AM to 10 PM only. In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note: visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms at any time.
Hostel management shall not be held responsible for any loss of luggage or personal belongings. Guests shall make sure not to leave their belongings unattended at any time.
If the guest’s behavior is deemed unfit at the property, at any time during the stay, the hostel management reserves all rights, upon subjective evaluation, to ask the guest to vacate the premises and no refund shall be processed in these circumstances.
Breakfast timings (at all our hostels): 8 AM to 10 AM. However, at times, breakfast timings may change and the same shall be informed prior to all guests staying in our hostels.
Drugs/substance abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately. They will also be blacklisted from staying at our hostels in the future.
We are a pet-friendly hostel.
With the exception of Jodhpur and Mussoorie Max, pets are allowed at all hostels provided the guest books a private room. Pets are not allowed inside the dorm rooms.
Care and upkeep of the pet is solely the guest’s responsibility and any damage to property or other’s belongings is to be borne by the guest themselves.
The Hosteller reserves the right to admission based on the discretion of the management.
